Chapter Programs

Snowflake Mentoring Program: The Snowflake Mentoring Program is our community outreach for young ladies to come together and interact with their peers through cultural and educational programs. This is done to encourage great health and life decisions and also to encourage high self-esteem. Each year the young ladies are recognized for their personal victories in service and leadership.

March of Dimes Walk:  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has a national partnership with the March of Dime.  As a local chapter we participate annually in the March of Dimes Walk to raise money for further research and promote awareness for premature babies.

Breast Cancer Walk: The Breast Cancer Walk is a program that we sponsor to raise money for further research to one day find a cure for a disease that has affected millions of women across the world. The Kappa Sigma Zeta Chapter has 3 survivors of our own.

Expanding Your Horizons: Expanding Your Horizons is an annual event that is done to help young ladies get prepared for college as well as different professions. This is done in partnership with the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS).

Blue and White Scholarship Ball: The Blue and White Scholarship Ball is an event done with much elegance and entertainment. In conjunction with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Eta Psi Sigma Chapter, this event is done to raise money to award scholarships to college bound youth with high academic performance. The youth must also be active in the Springfield community.

Finer Womanhood Dinner Theatre: The Finer Womanhood Dinner Theater is an event held during Finer Womanhood Month to promote awareness of various health and social changes within the community through entertainment and dinner.
